The First Note
The North Brunswick School of Music has been providing services for over 25 years. We have taught musicians from all walks of life, both young and old. Since music is constantly evolving, we welcome students of all levels of musical proficiency.
Teach In Harmony
With our dedicated one-on-one classes, our instructors will spend as much time with you as you need to make sure that you are comfortable with every note and every chord. So if want to pursue your musical dreams, we will work with you to accommodate your needs.
The Future Sounds Good
Whether you are just starting out, looking for ways to advance your existing musical career, or need a little extra help with preparing for a big audition, we are always available to work with you. There are no minimum amount of classes you have to take, so come as often as you would like.
Our Story
Since opening its doors five decades ago, the North Brunswick School of Music on North Main Street in Milltown has experienced plenty of changes when it comes to the community’s interest in learning music.
Kids and adults do not have their faces buried in the screens of computers and smartphones, but are eager to learn how to play The Beatles on guitar or hear themselves create the blare of a saxophone.
Mike DeFellipo, a native of Plainfield and the owner of the music school, hopes to reignite a passion for music creation and instruction in the hearts and minds of today’s generation.
